Gem slot shape
When i first played PoE a few months back i recalled that the gem slots are shaped differently based on the color (red/green/blue) which was great because i had red/green color deficiency and it allow me to tell the difference between str and dex slots. Why did they change this?

Let me quote the part which probably interests you: " EDIT: i hope they'll also add back the shapes for the slots if they already change the gem icons... since otherwise only half of the problem would be solved... didn't think of that. I hope they change it for your sake.

Thanks. My concern was that it was already in the game last time. Why did they change to the current ones. It is that they wanted to change both gem and their slots together?

" they changed it to be MORE colorblind friendly.. yes, i typed that correctly if anything, removing all the shapes and idetifying marks, made them LESS colorblind friendly, but they went through multitude of different shades of R/G/B colors trying to find a combo that worked.. what you see now is what was agreed to be the best by those colorblind users Things with "increased" and "decreased" in the tooltip are additive ... where as "More" or "Less" are multiplicative ...

Ok thanks. I don't see how it is more color-blind friendly (pun intended) but at least i got an answer. I just have to use the gems to differentiate the slots then.
