Auras do indeed work with the skill. Well, to be fair, im only using wrath atm, but it works fine. Shield Charge is after all, a melee attack, and actually uses weapon damage instead of some other stat such as "smite damage".
Im having a hell of a blast with shield charge as my main skill, its a build i started toying with back in CB, and rebuilding now. Thing for me is all about surviveability and just low damage constant hits and stuns. So thus the aruas aid in gettin a lil more bang for the buck. Also, Shield charge is a beautiful escape skill. GGG - Why you no?

" The increased elemental damage passives work on Auras right? So in theory, you could run Anger, Hatred and Wrath, which get boosted by Elemental Damage. All this would increase the damage via shield charge. Would these also be calculated into Increased Elemental damage with weapon or is added damage via aura/support gems not counted into things like this? |

Good question. To be honest, im not a number cruncher, or a mechanics buff. Im a farmer by nature, and a tinkerer in heart.
Maybe one of our more knowledgeable mechanics buffs could enlighten us, if they see this thread. GGG - Why you no?

No real need to take resolute technique since it can't miss. Elemental damage and melee damage boost it, not sure on weapon elemental damage, but it is based off of your mainhand weapon.
The speed is independent of your weapon, so get a slow hitting high damage weapon. I've been trying to stack flee items with it. Theoretically you can get flee up to 75%. |
