Massive lag + hardcore = death

Hi. First I want to say I really love this game and it's absolutely great but now to the point I'm really mad at the moment. I was in The Western Forest when massive lag came and there were mobs around me. For 3 minutes 1 mob was chasing me and others we're standing still, then the game crashed. I logged back in and what did I see? DEFAULT LEAGUE BECAUSE OF LAG.
So please GGG check your logs or whatever you do and see that it wasn't my fault that I died and I wanna be placed back in the Hardcore league.

Thanks for the laugh kennutz. Yea, I'm laughing at you. Its your fault you died. If it really did go down how you say it did, and you really did lag for 3 full minutes before reacting to it, then you completely deserved to die.

Next time leave the game....

It's open beta. I wouldn't try HC unless I wanted to beta test it.

I'm not sure what's the GGG policy on these 'died because of lag, but me back to hc ladder', but seeing how you've gotten no answer I think it's this: It's beta, it's not a complete product, live with it.

Even one of the loading screen tooltips says "There will be bugs."

I've died because of spikes on normal enough not to try HC.

I deserved to die? What the f I was supposed to then srsly, put tp when it wouldn't even appear in front of me?

GGG won't put you back in HC because you died of lag. It is policy and to be honest it's your fault and part of the game. Next time log out instead of waiting to be lagged to death.

Should had Alt+F4 yep ;/ but whatever, thanks for the replies going to start new anyway

Had a lag spike for a few seconds, and died because of it. I am sad, so sad.

umm, i dunno about everything else...but the game RELEASED in October (was it? maybe late Sept.. its not beta anymore...

but if you die you just have to suck it up...same here though, about 33% of my deaths were due to something not related to the actual gameplay...power outage, desync, game crashes etc etc. one was lvl 61 or so on merc/nem. you just have to deal with it and *hope* they figure out a way of fixing this issue in the future. hardcore action/rpgers will deal with it, but with full release...casual players are much less likely...
