Spell for convert HP to Mana

There are blood magic passives and support gems allowing you to cast from HP instead of mana, but I assume that's not the focus here.

A skill that straight-up converted your life to mana, provided it did something else as well (just that by itself probably isn't interesting enough) could be a nice skill to have.
Yea I think the fact you can get a blood magic support gem is good enough anyway, so you can pick skills to cast from your health pool.

I realy like this idea, I has a Necromancer on Lineage 2 and you have Body to Mind, this converts Part of your HP into MP with a percentaje, for example (Not the real percentage in that game) 150 HP for 35% of this into MP, so you get something like 50 MP.

But the real point of this was because you have CDL (Curse Death Link) an skill who hits more bassed in your HP, less your HP was more damage you deal, with HP 100% you dont deal any damage so you play with 1-300 HP all the time based on if you where able to kill enemies with only one hit or two if your cast is good or 5-6 if your your cast is and if the mob dont deal ranged dmg and he is an slow mob and the experience is better than kill mobs with one hit, a lot of stuff, but it was a really fun way to grind in the edge so I guess both skill can by a really good combination.

A support gem that allowed the skill to take from the health pool once the mana pool is empty would be interesting ^^

Sounds very similar to "Mana Shield" in Diablo I- like the opposite of Blood Magic:

As a keystone passive:
* Damage taken first from mana instead of life
* Maximum life becomes 1
* Maximum energy shield becomes 0

Or you could do it Diablo II style as a shield spell:
* Reserves 40% mana (or maybe life- blood magic style by design)
* 40% of damage taken removed from mana instead of life/energy shield


However if you're just looking for a way to have crazy amounts of mana Eldritch Battery does this very well already (converts all energy shield to mana). Can aura stack very effectively with EB.

This would work well with a keystone for the templar, (seeing as how they removed AOF D:< )
and would actually kind of warrant using armour as a viable choice, since you're not 100% dependant on your life to take big hits.
