Private server: "Be your own host"

I would like if when we play alone or with a party we can choose if we are or not the host...
I live in Argentina and my ping is too high, i can play with range or tanky clases but for example i can't play with Shadow because i died all time, when i use Whirling Blades to escape sometimes i come back where i was and die.

Server list: These are "public servers"
America
Australia
Singapore
Europe
Add:
Private: You are your own host. You can play alone or invite your friends (or with your community or guild), Friends can join to your game without invite. (You have to be online for play anyway)

like "Warframe" system.

If you do this you will have more people around the world playing your game without high ping ^^

I'm not saying: offline mode.

The thing is, if you can't host a stable connection then the people you decide to play with will lag like hell too.. :/

But if i have not a stable connection you can join to "public servers" (actual servers) or join to another friend's server...
If I create a "private" server is because i'm looking to play Alone or with a friend who live 4 blocks

And again we see a suggestion for offline client.

For you to be the host, the server calculations are done on your computer, and this goes back to the offline client suggestion.
And that's exactly what hackers need to ruin the game.

Nothing against you personally, but...
I truly hope GGG places a BIG sticky thread indicating that offline modes will NEVER be added, and that asking or suggesting for offline clients or anything that involves having the game's core software on their own computer is a bannable offense.

I never said "offline client"
Have you ever played Warframe?
In Warframe when you play you have to be logged in... When you are in the game you can choose:
- Join with other people.
- Play With friends
- Solo (YOU HAVE TO BE LOGGED IN TO PLAY!, YOU CAN'T PLAY WITHOUT INTERNET)
- Or Host (People Can Join in your game)

If I've to be logged in, GGG can know if i'm hacking or not

That's not the point.
The point is that for you to host the game in YOUR PC, it means that the game software - all the calculations - needs to be in YOUR PC, which means you can access the game's coding, which means you can LEARN how to hack the game more easily.

It would have to be a pseudo-offline client, even if it requires login.

I'm not saying that YOU are suggesting it because you're a hacker or anything.
I'm saying it's NOT something that'll happen anytime soon, and if it does, HACKERS will benefit from it the MOST.

OK. I explain to you why thats never gonna happen. First of all i wanna tell you that you can make your own "private" server with enough programming skills. It just requires a LOT of work. (packet sniffing, ...)

They never gonna release the original server code while the game is still running, because some people gonna reverse-engineer and analyze it and then they will write their little programs.

You log onto PoE just like normal.

Say you make a new character. Standard or Hardcore?

Just like those would be their own leagues, he's looking for another league that would only house him and a few others temporarily.

Once they are done playing and leave, that temporary league (Server run just as always) shuts down to free up memory for the server.

No need to have server files on the PC at all.

Those of us who just cant connect to the main servers and find them far to glitch to actually play the game would find this very very useful
