Got a new HD monitor to play PoE....black in game is blue??

I've had a older dell 19" lcd that was small but the game looked fine on, but thought is no a head and try a newer one so I got a new 21.5 HD monitor yesterday and the monitor is fine but the game is so dark ( in the dark areas that I have to turn up the brightness levels a bit and then all the black in the game is blue....
Anyone else have a issue like this...? Obviously not a PoE issues... |

I got a new monitor also, I had to find where to change the DPI stuff to fix it. Changing the resolution and color didn't do it.

Do you need to recalibrate it? Is it primarily one for genral use/gaming/photo editing stuff?
POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!

Looks like contract ratio is an issue with games and monitors

Contrast ratio should be 100%. Brightness should be anywhere from 80 to 100% depending on taste. Also, be sure to calibrate the actual *colors*, too, or else you're going to get issues like this.

Pretty much what everyone else said your monitor more than likely needs calibrated. Brand new monitors are usually set up with colors and settings all messed up. They are usually calibrated to look decent under brick and mortar store lights and that's not very good in your home.

Color Temperature is your issue, if you want it looking the same as your previous screen check the temp settings on the monitor menu, set that temperature on your new one
or if you have an amd or nvidia card, go into ccc or nvcpl and change the temperature there if you dont want to mess with hardware settings |
