Arctic armor - Constantly on? Is it possible

I would like to know / understand, is it in theory possible to run Arctic Armor (AA) constantly on with certain items, auras, enough mana etc.

yes it is possible... also you can use Lightning warp for mobility so it would be cheaper to maintain (but some can run it without that 'trick')

Ah ok great stuff! Any suggestions regarding any specific passive skills I should be focusing in or certain items I should be buying for this?

well mana items mana regen.. and probably EB

also if you go EB dont focus on one (ES vs Mana nodes) do both for best effect

High mana regen will let you have a (moderately low level) arctic armor active too... thing to keep in mind is that while you use mana for skills when standing still, you don't when moving... so it synergizes pretty well with some skill you can barely keep spamming with your regen

I have an Eldritch Battery witch with 2.2k mana and I have arctic armour level 8 constantly
on.I can't seem to sustain level 9 with nearly 120 mana regen per sec.

Im making a wand witch in onslaught and im planning to make her with perma AA on AT LEAST at level 17.

Problem is, at level 17 AA drains 203 mana while moving; and the only way to have 200 mana regene is taking EB and reach at least 2.5k or 3k mana + a shitload of regene; something like 200%; so paua amulet + regen on rings and some passives.

I think AA is worth it, at lvl 17 you are granted 140 flat dmg reduction; in conjunction with a 40% armor, 30% evasion (granted with grace) and 3-3.5k hp you will be almost immune to all small \ medium hits. Big hits will still oneshot you unless you evade them.

Also, plan on making an elemental build; since you will have loads of mana and ele dmg auras + grace and discipline uses flat mana reservations

Last thing, take all ES\armor or ES\eva hybrids equips. Even a 50 ES can transform in 150 mana with the right passives

So, AA would most likely not be a good idea with summoner (given that I would go for auras) but instead for a caster. Also, the level 17 constantly active AA is something I really feel like aiming at after ripping 3 casters on onslaught.

Remember, mana regen is based on your full pool, not just what isn't reserved... so big pool + high regen means you can still reserve much for auras (the streamer pros look like they often reserve like 95% of their mana and still do fine)
