Fire Trap Loot Bug: Fixed or No?

I'm trying to get information on if this is fixed or not. I use fire trap a lot and I've noticed I get a lot less when the burning does the killing as compared to my weapons. I've read old threads about it, but I was under the impression it was fixed, yet people I've talked to say it isn't. Any new info?

I'd be interested in this as well, I had to stop using my Fire Trapper a couple of months ago because of this bug. I've also been unable to test this since I recently moved and haven't been willing to risk my high level HC characters on the new bad internet I have.

Obviously all I know is that they've claimed its fixed, but I was always under the impression there were two separate bugs happening, one with FT and one with the burning effect.

One of the things I read was that it occured in a circumstance when the burning effect killed something after the burning ground was gone. The technical reason given was that the degen dmg had no parent object (having been removed from memory). Im not sure how that relates to the processing of a loot drop in the coding though.

Really, I just want to know the status of the bug report. Either "Closed/fixed in 11.0/11.1" or "We're Still Looking Into It" would suffice :)
