What to 5L for Lightning strike?

Got around 2.5k dps, so Lifeleech is out of question I guess. What should I link?

Life on hit, multistrike, faster attacks if you want a "heal up to full" button. Drop the LMP if you use multistrike.

If you want to maximise your effective DPS i would say lighning penetration instead of rarity (IIRC lightning pen is even a blue gem so the colors are already right). (it won't increase the tooltip DPS, but it should make a huge difference especially if the enemy has some lighning res)

Well it depends on what spec you are using.
FA+WED+LL+Ele Prolif FA+WED+LL+Multi FA+WED+Multi+(Some crit gem) FA+Melee+WED+Multi oh there are so many good options! I changed a lot of support gems the last days and I think I'm gonna stay with FA+WED+LL+Multi since my dps is quite good and need some life leech for my squishy witch. To crit or not to crit ? Lightning Pen is pretty awesome with pure lightning damage skills (especially in higher difficulties most monsters are resistant to elemental damage).
Also, don't feel bad using chromes on your 5 link, chromes are super cheap and easy to get, you aren't changing the number of sockets or ruining the links. If you want a gem combination that your colors don't support, I strongly encourage you to chrome that shit up. |

I have Melee Splash, Multistrike, Faster Attacks and Life Leech hooked up to mine.
I guess in Lightning Strike's case replacing Melee Splash with LMP or GMP will produce similar results if not better, but changing colors on a 6s 5l can be very tricky :) overall, your existing setup looks good enough. although I'd replace the Weapon Elemental gem with a Melee Physical one - to boost both physical and lightning damage.
