@POE Latency Problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Whole group has Latency problems with a ping around 400ms some of our group get kicked from the server other cant join areas

Plz Help

I am playing on the european gateway, with the following issues:

- Every time i log in, the client tells me, my account was locked, because it was accessed from another location before and i have to unlock it with an email. Everyone in many european countries have dynamic IPs -- Please disable this!

- When i log on, i play with ping 50 usually inside a dungeon. Then i use a scroll and go to town, suddenly my ping becomes 150 after i return. If i go to the dungeon and back again now, sometimes it changes to 220, sometimes it returns to 50.

Please check, if you doing some mis-routing/load balancing of instances between servers on different gateways/far away locations. This issues was introduced a while ago, and did not exist before!

It seems the dungeon instance just gets moved to the US-gateway or something on random.

This is highly annoying, please have a look at this.

Btw: here is another thing:

If i log in using the singapoor gateway:

- i have Ping 385 in the town
- If i join an instance, of a mate in my party, i have constant ping 150 there
- If i join an instance, i created myself, i have constant ping 385 there

If i just redial in, and get lucky with a fresh dynamic IP, i might end up with ping 50 again.
After changing town <--> dungeon a few times, i may be back to 150 again... :/

Then suddenly while playing, back to ping 50:

I have noticed it too - although playing from Europe gateway, sometimes some instances have way higher latency than others. The very suspicious things sometimes appear next to instance realm column - sometimes I see America, sometimes even Singapore, is this common?

same here, playing EU gateway.
especially annoying in races, when you get ping issues + the occasional desync :(

since several days/weeks, I have also severe latency issue, only in PoE ( no issue in BF3 in many different servers )... In fact, latency is around 30 ms on Europa gateway, and suddenly latency rise/drop, sometimes up to 900 ms, and it's like there isnt any connection to server anymore during few sec, and it comes back to 30 ms...
I faced the same issue on America Gateway, but it's far less often... ( latency is around 150 ms though ).
Lag Spikes are just incredibly present... :(

I guess I cannot do anything about it...

The most likely explanation for this is that you are joining parties with people who are playing on a different gateway. e.g. you're on EU and somebody in your party is making instances in NA or AU. You should be able to check this when you leave a laggy zone, ctrl click the door you just came through and see which gateway the instance was hosted on.

I would like to stress out that I almost exclusively play single (due to absolutely crazy stuttering in parties, but that is a different story), yet I see "America" and sometimes even "Singapore" in the realm column of my instances ingame.

I thought this is somewhat normal, but it seem it might not be the case, any suggestions on how to experiment with this phenomenon?
