[Feedback] Clarify Poison Damage vs. Chaos Damage Scaling Confusion

There is confusion regarding how % Increased Chaos Damage interacts with Poison Damage. Many players invest in chaos damage nodes in passive tree expecting them to scale their Poison Magnitude, only to find their damage unchanged because their initial hit is purely physical. Below are a few suggestions to provide a little more clarity to players:

Proposed Solutions:

• Tooltips: Add "Source Contribution" line to Poison skills to show exactly what is boosting Poison.
• Keyword Warnings: Add a note to Chaos nodes: "Does not scale Poison damage unless the inflicting hit deals Chaos damage."

I agree in spirit but maybe it would be better to completely overhaul poison and other ailments so they don't scale directly from hit damage at all.

If your average, or even above average dedicated players can't actually figure out what's going to add damage to their build in game, without having to research it thoroughly online your game has a problem.

I would be happy with just adding some clarification on tooltips and nodes.

Yeah that'd be nice, but I don't know if they can even explain it at all, let alone in a concise easily understandable manner... I like this game a lot but they've frankly done a very bad job with the nomenclature and semantics.

Tier 5 is the highest item tier...but tier 1 is the highest affix tier...yeah that's not confusing to new players at all. Spells are not attacks even though you can attack things with your spells...etc. etc.

Last Epoch's in game tool tips and mechanics explanations are far superior.

Yes you can with some effort figure these things out, but it's a fact that it'll cost them some number of potential customers and you'd think a company this big would have more carefully considered the language of the game.
