Companions not showing up even tho toggled on.

Using deadye ascendancy with companions and it's toggled on, but nothing showing on screen or panel for them to be active. Even cut a new gem to see if was bug with the one i was using by chance. Still no go. Spear/Sceptre combo, easily clear level/stat/spirit reqs. Have an Amazon about same level and put gems into stash from that to see if those will show up for deadeye, stll no go. But on amazon trusted kinship will have wolf/hyena both active at same time so not sure how to go about it.

Edit:: toggeld on but after leaving skills menu, it's not reflecting the spirit reservation, saying 209/209 even though gems are toggled on
