Acidic concoction

How is this supposed to be use? i have been trying to see the utility of it but i just cant understand the skill. Clearly im using it wrong but why would u want to consume poison on target and of top of that make that target immune to poison for 1 sec??? isn't the whole point of poison to let ur target die from DOT stacks? I understand it was poisonous concoction in previous patches and that looked way cooler. Now i have to consume already applied poison stacks to make little to no damage and spend flask charges? clearly im using it wrong so any idea would be great!

Yeah i've been reading the same thing all over. I think with this changes pathfinder is dead as well since u can either go poison stack (10 max?) or any generic skill plus running faster, less ele dmg and starting from other nodes...wtf.
