UI, enemy health bars, befits of linear horizontal map designs

-Boss & other health bars
The health bar and information on the top of the screen during a boss fight is too thick and blocks important visual ques.

consider moving it to the right hand side of the screen. or in the corner of the screen.

When we are in boss fights we get locked into a small area of the map, the minimap itself becomes redundant and that real-estate can be used for the health.

The local objectives should have a toggle to turn them on and off. that real-estate could be used to display the bosses strengths and weaknesses.

-Linear horizontal map design benefits
The aspect ratio of our monitors is wide,

being able to travel horizontally would give us better visibility of what is ahead or behind us.

It does not exactly need to be perfectly horizontal, it could also be diagonal. Traveling upwards and downwards, especially with a thick health bar in the way, is very bad for visibility and user experience.
