why are lock medallions so scarce

i don't understand why I'm struggling so much with lock medallions. i have 14 spymasters which doesn't seem to matter anymore. i don't know why players cant sustain a concept of a game the players spent hundreds of hours to build and sustain. my next run if i don't find any locks (again) in my 75 room temple, I'm gonna have to rebuild for the 4th time. " after you complete one temple run, instead of continuing directly with the next temple run, go to the way point, click on it, then control click on vaal temple icon, then select "new" instance. you can now continue your next temple run. 34pre98qua
