Limit XP Loss to XP Gained on Current Map

Hi,
I'm level 97 and I have been unable to progress for over a week because of XP loss. I'm using a stack of Omen of Amelioration and Omen of Resurgence but I still regularly die from the random lag spike, random invisible ground effect, random one shot from a monster. The invested currency and loot loss is already a strong punishing mechanism. The current XP loss implementation is poor game design at best. It would be sensible to limit the XP loss to what you have gained on the current map. It is trivial to implement. There are other approaches, e.g., Diablo II and Dark Souls, where could can run back to your corpse. Harder to implement but it would be interesting to restart the map with a new Waystone and find your corpse. Cheers, Dernier bump le 15 févr. 2026 à 14:20:05
