Crafting Question / Bug

I'm working on a fairly expensive craft. I have an unidentified desecration as a prefix and when I use a omen of dextral erasure in hopes to remove the one suffix that should be removed it is highlighted; however, the unidentified desecration in the prefix is also highlighed. I'm scared to go through with it, as I don't want to lose the desecration in the prefix. Am I safe to use the omen and chaos orb and not lose the unidentified prefix desecration?

For Clarity, I have attached an image where I circled the items that are highlighted when I hover my chaos orb over the item with the omen of dextral erasure active.
