Is there a reason we can't use portal to teleport BACK in the temple?

Basically why can't we produce two-way portal between temple and Vaal Ruins?

And why does it warn you the Temple isn't finished if you can get back in to go finish it? I'm so nervous every time I use it, even though I know the temple isn't going to randomly close on me... but I'm always paranoid about it.
I guess it could be so people don't randomly wander away, but it doesn't take you outside of the Vaal Ruins itself, just puts you near your stash. It really makes it sound like you're leaving the temple entirely and going directly back to town or something. "Some call him a genius. Others, a monster. The truth is usually somewhere in between.

The patch notes said Temples can no longer close them selves, and will stay open untill the player closes the temple manually on the device. So the first thing I did was load up a new temple, I got half way through and my inventory was full of loot. I opened a portal, got that message, and deposited my loot into my stash. It closed its self when I portaled out and wouldnt let me back in.
Whats the point of adding patch notes if theyre just lies? |
