Endgame cheatcode is multiplayer

When you play multiplayer and you die, you can be resurrected.

Starting in Endgame it can feel like a snails pace to make any progress especially if you are playing solo.

Solo gameplay in my opinion is better mostly due to readability.
(having multiple players animations overlap is too much)

I think the game is too punishing for solo play.

**not to mention it is basically boosting if you play with someone higher level**

if you play with someone higher level you can also buy higher level waystones easily.

Reviving a fallen party member doesn't bypass the xp loss. It also doesn't bypass the number of revives you get in on a waystone. On a map with zero revives, when you are dead, you're dead. No revives. When you die during a boss fight, even if the map has revives, you can't revive a party member. I don't get what is so much easier in a group. Monsters take longer to kill, giving more chances to be 1 shot. Completing anything is multiple times slower, as only the party leader is the one completing their atlas, or their temple. There is always that one person that takes much longer in the hideout. Just as there is always that one person that constantly separates from the group, or does significantly less damage.

When you play solo, you don't have to wait for everyone to be ready to run. Plus, you can always pause, and then even exit to the character select screen to avoid death. All drops are yours, and you advance your atlas in 100% of your runs.
Do you really still lose XP even after revive? Then I was lied to, or hadn't noticed that. I know it counts towards the waystone life, but are you sure you lose the same XP when dying?

I agree with the other things, for map & atlas progress.

I just don't like multiplayer because fighting together is an eyesore and ruins readability. Characters also have different pacing & only so much can fit in the screen.

I didn't know that about pausing right before dying, I might need to try that next time my character freezes before dying.

I have really bad internet so I pause when I get latency spikes and it works at saving me when the game is frozen. I can't do that in multiplayer.

Also anyone I played with lives on the other side of the planet, so my ping is bad. when ping is bad in this game it feels very sluggish and different from ping in other games.

I play in a group regularly. I am positive you lose your exp on death, even if revived. Not that we can revive running zero revive yellow waystones.

The visual spam is one of the biggest drawbacks of group play. That and the many features that simply weren't designed for groups. Like the Atlas progression, Boss fight rewards, and Vaal Temple. Which sucks, because they are the only options for endgame. Then there is the bugs that are from day 1, like instancing issues where the game decides the party leader isn't the instance owner. Which leads me to believe very few people actually play in groups.

Just think of it this way. If group play was superior to solo, all the streamers would be pushing it as the new meta.
