So I collected my rewards, but when I clicked the skill button, it didn't give me the skill. So I logged out because I thought there was some bug. After logging in, I still couldn't click anything.

Was this for your 3rd (points 5,6) or 4th (points 7,8) Ascendancy?
If for the 4th, then you need to beat The Trialmaster in the secret room. You need 3 Fates from 3 x 10 round level 75+ Trials of Chaos to access that room. 😹😹😹😹😹
