Lost my tower map after completing and getting disconnected after tping out

finished the Mesa tower boss, hit the tower and completed the map. it said completed and gave me a precursor tablet. Went to go finish the rest of the mobs and abyss on the map. once finished i tped out to leave map and I get disconnected. come back to find out the tower didnt complete and it acted as if I failed? lost my grand project. Very annoying cause it was the perfect spot to use the grand project.
