Character freezing on entering Act 3 Ziggurat for days

I have been stuck in the Ziggurat scene for the last few days.
I contacted Grinding Gears but they are busy and suggested posting here.

Character can't move at all except by rolling. But can't leave the scene or do more than talk to characters and open inventory.

I have searched the problem with 2 AI versions, and tried most of the suggestions made there.
Have updated my NV video, downgraded to Direct X 11 and back, etc.
This is a known bug I believe.

I am running a 2023 Legion 5 Pro 3070 card, with good disk space, etc.
The game is through Steam (yes, did the validation for the game there too, and restarted PC).
But still stuck. Tried another different character that isn't as far in the normal game (standard league), and it still works okay.

I have played this stuck character for many hours to get here and complete most all the quests.
I don't want to give up this character. It's in solo self-found league.
Level 35 Legionnaire with loaded crossbow and bow and quiver - if that has any relevance to the freezing?.

As this is a bug, seeming with some variations, I am hoping someone here can please help, or at least suggest some things I haven't tried.
