Glacier Bolt Discussion

Hello all,

Hopefully GGG sees this but just need to vent. A few seasons back I played a glacier bolt build amazon. The build was amazing and took a lot of investment to get right. The idea of the build was to lean into the explosion on contact damage from glacier bolt. Stacking multiple walls on each other that proc'd the damage from the walls exploding. As far as I could see only a handful of people played or even knew this build existed. It was extremely niche and off meta at the time.

Fast forward to now....they have completely gutted this skill. It now does eggretiosly less damage if the wall explodes by anything other than the player. What in the actual heck is that?!? In no situations would you ever want to take this skill. It pushes enemies back. Doesn't freeze on contact, (which would at least allow a combo to break the wall) and the idea of combos in general in this game need a lot of work. Let me get this straight: I set up a wall, then switch to another skill to blow up the wall, rinse and repeat. Meanwhile, my target has already sprinted past the blast zone. It is even worse for bossing.

GGG, this skill was not breaking the game. Not every skill needs to be a combo or builder spender like diablo 4. Look at the numbers....has anyone played this skill since you nerfed it? If the answer is no, please respect ypur own dev team for creating the original skill (time is money) and revert it back. That way people dont feel like they are just wasting time creating a skill that no one will use at your studio. Just revert the change.

I love this studio and this game. But sometimes ya gotta give tough love and the way this skill works now just ain't it fellas.
