Herald Damage Node Bug?

If I only have Herald Of Blood actived, does it count as I'm affected by HoB?

Because nothing happened when I grab these two nodes before Coming or Angonising Calamity.

But if I have another Herald Of Ash or whatever, these two nodes worked and my skill's damage rise up.

So again, Herald Of Blood dosen't affect me? Or how Herald Of Ash affect me?
Or it's a bug and the right thing is whatever herald skill you have actived, those two nodes would inc your skill damage.
