Poe2 and Legacy of Phrecia - same computer locks

I know the POE2 computer lock is a known issue but I just started experiencing the EXACT same locks (screen would go black/freeze and cogwheel after) in Legacy of Phrecia event where I did NOT have any issues before in Keepers of the Flame or any POE1 league before. I figured that whatever GGG has done for the event, it is causing the issue.

So I figured I would share since it may help to pin point the issue for smarter people that me! :)

Oh, the fullscreen windowed mode in POE1 is broken too in Legacy of Phrecia. alt-tabbing screws up with the resolution somehow and the game bugs/crashes often now too.

Teleporting back to town takes forever too now, this is specific to the current event in POE1, it was NOT like that in Keepers of the Flame or previous leagues.
