Maps randomizing whilst you play through them (campaign) isn't fun and feels silly

Example: Cemetery of the Eternals

You enter, explore, find a tomb and enter it - clear it and leave and...

The map has randomized!? Minimap lost!!?? How does this make ANY sense exactly???

This obviously repeats for the 2nd tomb and in EVERY map - it doesn't make sense to me?

For the campaign I think map layout should be locked on entry - having to reexplore a map isn't fun and undermines the world building lore/story etc.

"Here is a world full of ancient untouched areas"

"Which randomly reorders itself for NO LOGICAL OR EXPLAINABLE REASON every 5 mins"

I don't remember this happening in PoE - it shouldn't happen here- stop it please.

Because you exit the instance. And instances reset when empty for 8-15 minutes.
Both tombs are not sub areas that just have a door transition (like the treasure rooms in Act 2 Keth)

Generally if you see a loading screen it means new instance and if you dilly-dally for too long inactive instances reset.

It also happens in PoE 1, but since gameplay is faster you zoom through without actually hitting the reset timer

Some people are just slow, I have NEVER had the graveyard reset because I was in one of the tombs.
Double edged sword of pseudo-randomized zone generation.

It keeps the zones feeling fresh on every playthrough, but the 15 minute reset timer means that when you revisit a zone throughout a story in a campaign it will have changed from the first time you entered.

Personally I view this as a feature, rather than an annoyance, and to get around issues like the one you've highlighted - clear tomb, exit, cemetery is completely un-discovered - I make sure to get all the necessary waypoints before committing to quests.

I do the same thing in act 3 after the jungle - I get the bog waypoint, then the chimeral waypoint, and then I choose which quest to go on first.

I'll admit it does seem kind of clunky from a conceptual standpoint but in-game it's never really felt like a big deal.
