Tablets crafting rework

I'm here to complain about the tablet crafting, I'm here specifically for ritual tablets, but the change I'd think of can be applied to all tablet.
The situation is as follow, I craft my own tablet, because 70D for one tablet (you need 2 for the strat) is incredibly expensive (But it's the normal price when you see how hard it is to craft this). I used 2000 chaos on tablets (~60D) and I was able to craft only 1 tablet with the specific 2 lines I need : - Ritual Altars in Map allow rerolling Favours an (1-3) additional time - Rerolling Favours at Ritual Altars in Map costs (20—30)% reduced Tribute Why? Because the first line (reroll additionnal time) is incredibly hard to get. One 2000 chaos I saw the line 5 times (1/400) and only one time was I able to couple it with the reduced cost of rerolling. The problem is, we have a line incredibly hard to get and at the same time a LOT of suffixe mod, because you have ritual suffix AND general suffix at the same time, and that is for me a problem. My solution to this is that the prefix should be the generic mod (Essence, %rare/magic monsters,etc) and the suffix should be only the mechanic mod. The ritual suffix will still be hard to get, but at least it will be easier to couple it with whatever mods we need to have with it. Another solution that can be added with my previous one could be 6 mods tablets, more space for mods so easier to get/couple mods. And the last things I can think of could be a new currency to roll all mods at a time, not just one like the chaos actually. We could find a mod we need more easily and switch to chaos to try to couple it with other mods we need. Thanks for reading :) Dernier bump le 26 janv. 2026 à 21:44:12

looks like endgame is not for everyone ) as in any game and in real life )
it is just tempflation problem in this league... with normal prices most of things will be ok and as it was said for 100lvl - it is not a thing to get so easy so best things in games are very hard to get try to craft mirror tier weapon ... you will spend THOUSANDS of divines if not few mirrors ) so it is not just about tablets ) Dernière édition par ungamer321#7175, le 26 janv. 2026 à 13:20:13

The price is not link to inflation, when you need to put 60D of chaos to get one tablet, the price is as now at 70D.
I want to actually play the game and it's mechanic, not put half my time crafting tablet to play a specific mechanic. And event if I'm playing on softcore, I think of the guys who play SSF et need to drop all the items by themselves. And thanks for your condescending tone :) Edit : I get it that mirror items should be extremly hard to get, but we're talinkg about tablet to play a mechanic, not uber endgame stuff. To be honest I'm hoping the endgame patch(now 0.5) throws out the infinite atlas and a lot of what goes with it. Including how current maps and tablets function.

I think your suggestion for suffixes being tied to only the tablet mechanic is pretty good!
I honestly dont see many downsides if they adjust the affix pool. For example rogue exiles are desireable in abyss, but they could just change that to be a prefix and it would be "solved". I think they've probably tested 6 mod tablets internally and decided that was too much juice that's why they're only 4 mod, and maybe because the difference between a well rooled 6 mod and a well rolled 4 mod would be like an extra tablet worth of juice, so on the top end it would be the same as having 6 current tablets. or myabe for simplicity on newer players. But i do think that poe2 needs to make its juice more deterministic like in poe1 with the atlas, right now the Poe2 tree just makes the content better, doesnt guarentee it, so if you run out of tablets (like in SSF) you are unable to get more until you find the mechanic randomly again and still its not 100% guarentee to get a new tablet, and the problem is even worse because you probably want to use more than one tablet per map |

" there is an infinite competition between players and devs... because interest is different for devs it is a buisiness for players it is .... fun? so devs try to make a service to earn money players want to have fun using their service if game will be easy... like TEMPLFLATION in 0.4 and printing divines machine, then players will spend less time to earn divs and so on so crafting tablets with easier way is same as homogenizing omen in 0.3. it was TOO easy as a player i can understand you. i would like to change A LOT in this game to have fun... for example - everything should be accessible for every player not in a RANDOM way, as most of the game offer , it is a casino , not a game anymore. but to devs it is a best way to make player spend more time so until there is no regulations , most of devs will use this casino mechanic in their games. obviously there were , are and will be many good ideas for players, but.. as most of devs dont spend much time in their games, they just dont care if players do really like their game or not, because first - it is a way to earn money. and we all know same thing from other aspects of our life - where money comes, everything changes. so you now see subscriptions everywhere... even to heat up your seat in some cars. so dont expect much from business. it is an infinite deal between will you buy product/service/whatever, or ont. that's the point. not your joy, happiness or whatever could it be. nothing personal, only business. |
