Abyss Echos and Omen of Light

Who came up with the idea to get omen of light or echos only when you kill Amunamu outside the smoke ?? This guy really should be fired of the job because of the amount of unfair situations created in the game for many builds.
Also caused by the extreme risks from this mechanic. How can this even be done in hardcore unless you are a ranged or spell caster. Not a single melee in the game capable of pulling this off.

Pulling this off on mace build, its not like effortless, but it's fairly easy.

Hit that rare until its low, kite away then finish with perfect strike. Never failed so far.

Both fruits and both come from plants seem close enough, and both are capable of feeding humanity. No one is superior to the other, as each fruit has its own usefulness

In terms of similarities, they both do the same job in the end. In terms of taste can be different, and this can be applied to who likes what.


So let's put that logic into builds.

Both can be played in the game and progress. Both have different speeds of clearing and damage. One of them is superior to the other in all aspects. Therefore, I see the issue in the game. If you can't see it already after I break the points for you, then do not join the forums, please.

Have done this many times with melee on HC.

I think things like this are kinda interesting and unique additions to the game that have their place as long as they aren't overused.

It'd also be nice if both options (in this case, kill inside or outside the shroud) had roughly as good outcomes for drops. The harder way would ofc be priced higher on trade, and that's ok, but what is a bit silly is just how much more valuable Omen of Light is over the others.

I love this mechanics.. No one forces you to dye.. If you see that you can't do the mechanics, just kill the amunamu inside the cloud.. But with a reward penalty, obviously.. Some things are not so deep, grind untill you're melee build can beat an amunamu outside it's cloud.

I run a Warrior Mace build and can pull them out, but I never seem to get an Omen of Light. Well, once I did. I get the Omen of Abyssal Echoes on rare occasions, but mostly end up with the junk Necromancy Omens. 183% rarity doesn't seem to help either. I am starting to think rarity is completely broken for me, because it seems to have no effect versus my non-rarity gear.

There is a specific strategy with delirium tablet, abyssal ( difficulty inscreased with each closed pit ) , unique abyss tablet. And make sure that you took the right points in you re atlas!!!

I run the abyss unique tablet and a delirium and abyss rare tablet with all the explicit mods others run with. I run a waystones jacked with rare mob bonus. My Atlas is set to give the 50%, though it seems more like 5% cuz I see all the others way more often. Plus, I have rarity where I can, but not at the cost of the abyss modifiers. Like I said, I also have 183% rarity on my gear. It's not that I am not trying. Even super bad luck would have landed me more than 1 total Omen of Light.
