Ppl want rarity removed as a modifier.
Ppl want to skip campaign on 2nd+ chars.

I have a idea,
Why not replace "rarity" on gear with "lowers level requirment" on gear?

It would give a similarly "bad" mod to fill that spot in the pool.
Also it serves as a way to get twinkier gear allowing ppl to zoom through campaign on subsequent runs reducing the friction of making more characters.

Rarity as a modifier is ok if it will be balanced around rarity stacked exile to be required to actually kill/deal meaningful damage so players can tweak their stats to get actually better rewards in exchange for survivability/clear speed.

Skipping campaign by lowering items level requirement actually not gonna make big difference, we'll just get yet another annoying stat. Campaign skip should be in campaign itself.

With all due respect if rarity was balanced as you say then it would be complely pointless weather you take it or not.
either kill faster or get more per kill equaling the same result per hour means taking it or not taking it would be the same and meaningless.

From one side yes, +rarity might be just another way of reward/time, but first this is another way/choice, and more choices we have the better
and second: this adds yet another reason for crafting such high tier gear, that will have both clear time and +rarity

More choices dosnt exclusivly mean better if you have too many meaningless choices its extra mental load without benefit its a waste of ggg's time and ours.
Yes i suppose it does give that super endgame gear experience for the top 10% of builds but most builds cant sacrifice those affixes to rarity.
