[I Am Noob][Need Assistance] Why Does Shield Wall Not Apply Poison?

Noob here but shouldn't shield wall be able to apply poison as it deals physical damage?
I have more then 50% chance to poison on hit but it never does is this a glitch or intended? If intended it should be made clear in the skill that it cannot be used to apply poison. Any help would be much appreciated. Dernier bump le 24 janv. 2026 à 19:11:48

It scales off your off-hand, not your weapon. If you slot Poison into Shield Wall and see no poison chance in the UI, that might be a bug.

But the poison chance is via support gem on shield wall plus passive tree its not on my weapon.

Are you running "Brutality" support gem? it says "Supported skills deal no chaos damage" poison is chaos dmg.
