Newb player, how do I scale my sorc minion build further?

What is the next steps to improve my build. I have 3-4 divs currently. Please be aware that I want to play "my" build and not just copy something from someone else. No "just copy build X from Y" replies please. It's minion, fire based. Can I only take minion nodes or do fire nodes also work on my minions with the fire tag? Also, what is my target in maps? Right now I am just going to the towers and do them, but I actually have no idea what I should do. " in terms of priority so you get an idea: - minion stuff is all you care about - you can easily grab more passives by optimizing your pathing on the tree - Always +X minion level on gear before anything else, it's massive damage ---> 300 spirit can easily do all content ---> if spirit gets tight, you can also swap the gigantic passive for the support gem in order to only apply it to specific minions ---> I wouldn't pay for any gear, just identify / gamble for a scepter ---> your amulet and helmet look okay ---> The focus is garbage, get a big armor shield or a focus with ES ---> Your belt & armor are garbage, get ES, ES and more ES, more is betterer (also remember spirit and + minion levels) - Muster & feeding frenzy are massive damage dont ignore them ---> i.e. muster on varashta can easily give you 80% MORE damage - Since you seem do be doing doing elemental damage: ---> the exposure nodes near the minion nodes are extremely powerful ---> check out infernal legion for big fire damage (you could put that on the warriors for example) - frost mages should use faster casting - clerics to keep your minions alive - storm mages to apply shock for another damage multiplier? - add a bunch of minion life & resist nodes (chaos res is kinda mandatory) - To apply exposure definitely check out frost bomb it just shreds resistances - Your spectre is bad ---> compare to wolves: cost a fraction of it, do more damage while moving faster - There are also a bunch of curse nodes near the minion & exposure ones ---> I haven't tried whether they are worth it congrats you now should have the same basic gear & passive tree as any box standard minion starter. That is your baseline and you want to do better / more QOL. Dernière édition par yunharla3000#5123, le 25 janv. 2026 à 06:20:53

" Thank you so much! That helped a lot! In my head I thought I just take mostly minions that are all recastable or invulerable, so I don't have to invest into minion defense. Dernière édition par Thypari#2025, le 25 janv. 2026 à 15:08:24

I have a question: Is there any point to using weapon skill points on a Minion witch if you only use one weapon?
|
|
" You can use the same gear for both weapon sets (there is a little lock on the inventory screen above the weapon & shield). This is commonly used for moving slow spectres, minion instability, etc.. (you also might want to learn some other stuff about that, have a look at pohx's video where he sets up permafrost crossbow for an easy example) I've seen some folks allocating those weapon points differently to add things like curses. Not sure whether it's worth it though (i.e. I would be too lazy :P). Dernière édition par yunharla3000#5123, le 13 févr. 2026 à 04:08:38
