Increasing Essences in story/early levels

The addition of lesser essences is great but they are too rare to actually be of use in their respective areas...
I got to maps with multiple characters and I almost never get a desired lesser essence while they are still relevant because I encounter so little amounts of them (no point in using a lesser essence for added phys dmg when I'm level 40+...). Also, because specific lesser essences are pretty good AND rare, their prices can be higher in the market then actual endgame essences. Increasing the rate at which they spawn shouldn't(?) break the game since they can't be combined to a higher tier - meaning they should only be used by lower level characters and would help familiarize new players with crafting while adding replay value to more experienced players.
