increased gold should be additive

getting increased gold on a tab completely bricks it. gold should be extra not less currency items for more gold. horrible design.

endgame mapping, between the random 1 shots and bs modifiers, is completely unfun and unrewarding. especially compared to the temple which is far easier than fully juiced maps and not even remotely comparable, risk vs reward wise.

slogging through maps for increased gold while ppl are printing over 100div raw a temple run is demoralizing as hell.

yall preach risk vs reward. where does that fit in in this scenario?

5div map/tab setup with 0 portals
vs
infinite farm temple with 50x the rewards

Then play temple if you find mapping worthless?
For Christ shake guys, wtf are you doing with gold coins? I reached 87milion and i don't know where to use it...

Sounds like you don't trade or craft at all, because it's pretty easy to go through a few million gold really quickly when you do, but why are you posting this? Did you even read the OP's post? Do you know what this is about?

The point of this post is that getting gold % on a map (or temple, or whatever) as as a modifier reduces the quantity of good drops there, because gold is literally taking the place of loot that would have otherwise dropped.

But nobody likes that or wants that. This is why people toggle on and off the Local Knowledge node on their Atlas. Because it literally makes your drops worse if you aren't in a Water or Swamp biome.

It's bad behavior. Increased Gold % should give gold on top of everything else you would have normally dropped. It shouldn't take the place of loot that would have otherwise dropped. This makes it an undesirable stat.
