Settings reset on restarting my game

After logging in on poe2 from steam, I found my setting to have been reset for some reason. No worries, took some time to fix them again. I then quit the game and opened it once again, only to find the settings to have been reset again.
I played multiple times this day and had no issues before now, so I assume it has something to do with a minor patch or hotfix.
