POE2 trail of lightning + support gems

Hey hi !

I will be straight to the question :
I have tamed a beast with trail of lightning on it ( which create shocked ground )

I cannot put encroaching ground or persistent ground on the tame beast gem
known problem ?
as designed ?
I am too weird and i try thing I should not ?

please tell me hot I can do this
