Is GGG encouraging players to use cheats?

Map-opening cheats, script-following cheats, and team bonuses completely ruin the PoE2 economy.

These are not the reasons that this economy was ruined

Haven't you noticed how quickly the economy has collapsed in recent seasons? He may not be the main reason, but he's definitely one of them.

You have many players removing the Atlas fog to see the most optimal path along with Grand Projects. They remove the fog of war on the minimap so that they can continue calling Light Radius useless. They use auto-flask with bot scripts. They snipe every market item. Welcome to online video games where interacting with a player economy actually makes you the joke.
I only play SSF and it is my duty as one to inform you of my status.

The real reason the economy collapsed isn't even because of cheaters or rmters. The reason is because of the game design and flaws. Think back what happened in all past leagues where economy collapsed? You had people manufacturing temporalis, or unid + instance crashing. I think they actually knew what the temple is capable of rewarding and they just let this cheat happen. Xmas gift perhaps. Except the real issue is the temple building.
1. Temple, as vaal-themed as it may be, most people weren't playing it in any vaal-themed way. You have two sources for big general loot. Abyss farming and temple. And people are generally gonna choose the 'better' farm. So you make a linear layout temple and then there's random non-linear map layouts. You might as well introduce linear maps in mapping. Why do we need two sources of the same stuff. 2. I much prefer poe1 run-temple-to-get-double-corrupts than stay-in-hideout-poe2-corrupts. 3. The economy is trash because the level scaling is trash. You have people hitting T15 maps within 6 hours with SSF gear, with relatively smooth gameplay. There's less reason to buy gear, but yes I know people would still want upgrades. The point being, its just a luxury instead of a necessity. 4. in Poe1, it's already bad that 2-man setup's can do 6man dps. It used to require cursebot+strbot+culler. With deep investments or risk death. in Poe2, 1 man can do 6man dps+, and the only other thing u'd want is a rarity bot. With a dedicated rarity bot, gear is less meaningful because you no longer need to fit rarity in terms of minmaxing. Comet should never be allowed to do such degree of damage. For 6 man setup's to work. Substantial investment should be a requirement. This gives meaning to economy. 5. Accessibility to content. You can spam temples over and over with little downtime. You can spam bosses with no downtime. This is poor design if not miserable design. EVERY content should require a bit of effort, example is expedition. If you wanna get to the boss, you gotta throw in some effort instead of directly reaching boss with minimal movement speed necessary. It's pointless to slow the game down when the very thing that's speeding the game's economy up is accessibility. Instead they wanna gaslight players with miserable movement speed. " They could just add item-spam-protection and an ability to set threshold so that users have a chance to reprice in case of careless errors. |

Player economies are almost always a joke. I doubt you can find a single one that isn't exploited or botted.
