There isn't a single node for ricochet on creatures. WHY?

In my recent build, I realized that there isn't a single Ricochet node on creatures in the skill tree. Just 3 of them, but for ricocheting off walls...

I tried to make a merc build that doesn't use shotguns/grenades, and ricochet would be essential for clearing maps, but the only option here is the gem that also takes away half the damage from the skill/attack.
I'm asking for nodes that help make this build viable without having to make several arrows bounce off the walls and not understand anything on the screen anymore.
