If you are really displeased with the current state of the game

Especially with the recent hotfix, express your dissatisfaction with the current state of the game to Tencent via emails and how it could potentially drive away profits made from support pack sales. All of these replies in forum are just noises, Jonathan and Mark will not read it.

A single phone call from Tencent HQ regarding PoE will matter more than these replies.

Yes, having PoE 2 development influenced by corporate money making interests will surely improve it /s
Man I've never seen a worse idea. "Hate WoW? Call Activision!" Like best case, some secreitary will humor you and throw it away, because that's not how communciation structures work at that level, you don't just get to call a CEO up and have a friendly chat. Worst case you'll succeed, and a corporete entity will try to fix the game, and that has never once ended well, and typically results in a dev going under and everything they do getting shuttered.

If you are displeased with the current state of the game, just stop playing.

Why would we be dissatisfied ? Just because they ruined your divine per $ farming strategy ?

I don't really play the game for currency, so I am not dissatisfied. To be honest I am happy, because the carries have lowered the prices for services, and I can skip the damn mechanics for 50ex now instead of 2 divs which were like 800ex
Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

The vaal temple is fine. GGG just needs to make some minor tweak here and there and the temple mechanics will be perfect.

Some examples that I can think of:
1) remove all forms of medallion locking, let destabilisation of rooms be random and non-deterministic.
2) increase the number of room cards from six to twelve on the left menu for temple building.

I think you meant to say GGG, not Tencent.

Tencent owns GGG, but they're not involved with PoE development. They don't call the shots on how the game is developed, and you really shouldn't want them to. When people in the owner, CEO and shareholder group gets involved with making creative and artistic decisions, it always leads to a worse result. That's how you get soulless "designed by focus group" games.

With 0.3, GGG did a massive overhaul of the game, largely based on player feedback. They saw that players were unhappy, and reconsidered a lot of their design philosophy. That's why so many people loved 0.3. GGG clearly listen to player feedback, they're not suddenly a different company that needs to be reigned in by their business daddies because they've made some blunders in 0.4.

Just tell them what you think is wrong with 0.4, and then if a lot of people agree, they'll eventually address it in a future patch just like they've done before.

The majority are enjoying it though. While you may be wanting to harass them for whatever reason, overall people are enjoying the game and the state that it's in. There are almost 120k people playing right now and has been virtually no difference since the changes. It sucks you aren't happy with it.

Calling them would be pointless imo. Even if you got someone, a quick look at the numbers would probably have them dismiss what you are saying, as the numbers speak for themselves and the retention has been very good this league and steady the last 3 weeks.

Hope the game gets to a state where you can enjoy it though. Some leagues aren't for me either, so maybe give 0.5 a look and see if its in a better state for you. Hopefully it is!

I love it, the hotfixes to me are in a healthy direction and make me want to buy MORE packs.

The best way you can vote is with your wallet and time. If you really hate it, don't buy anything and don't play.

If enough people feel the way you do, GGG will notice on multiple fronts and make adjustments.
The main bit of grumpiness I had about poe2 was the fact that path of exile, the premier action rpg whose operations financed the development of path of exile 2, had a 48 week long league up from a routine 13-16 week league length, and that was almost solely due to the launch and updating of path of exile 2.

Hotfixes are temporary, leagues and patches are temporary. The state of the game is temporary. But that regularity at which leagues are delivers was regular and, like my regular feeding and pooping schedule, I don't like it when regularity is disrupted. The devs are generally responsive to feedback, if you don't feel like they're following through on your feedback just give better feedback.

I'm not buying anything from now until I see some banhammer action for obvious exploit abuse. What's the point in supporting a game that has no integrity to keep things fair and punish those who abuse and profit from borderline cheating?
