So you think you're tanky do ya?
" its stated in the thread already essentially corrupt t15 maps. i personally always run Corrupted Infusion on atlas passive tree (corrupts maps again upon opening) so i frequently get 8 mod maps. if you use a tablet with "Map has 2 additional random modifiers" that gives you two. if you have all tablet effect atlas passives, when the double effect procs (20% chance) it will give you an additional 5 random modifiers they're insane at times. |

what is the loot like in these maps? is it worth juicing them so much? (for solo player)
|
|
" Ez map... all mods are ez... no joking |
|
" i dunno. probably not worth it honestly more map mods just means more stats those map mods give, thats all. so rarity, rare monsters, magic monsters, waystone drop chance, pack size. you can get some pretty crazy combined modifiers but that doesn't necessarily equal more loot. its all rng i'd say most of your loot still comes from tablets. map mods basically mean nothing. tablets you wanna run the mechanic you want, and stack effectiveness. these are your best modifiers period either way i think im done trying to build tanky builds. why bother. i still die. if i take a direct hit to the face i'll still get one shot if im not actively blocking, even with seemingly not bad mods. since i only have 3k life my life pool just isn't high enough to take any hit directly basically i could have more hp but i'd have to drop giants blood, but that doubles my damage so next league it'll just be full damage range build for me. i hate dying and try to build tanky to stop dying, but i still die more often than my poison pathfinder in 0.3 so whats the point i hate that poe2 feels this way already. it took poe1 much longer to feel this way of kill or be killed. best defense is a good offense. but here we are |

" Okay. We need to correct something here. You didnt make a tanky character. This is just a fact. Giants blood is not the only reason your character isnt tanky. Thats just 417 health missing. Which you are getting because you are using a 2h for damage. And then trying to fight the downside of a 2h, with way too many points into attack speed on the tree. You're then using Constricting for surround cluster(s), 99.999% for damage. You have a swap for warcries, for damage. You have next to no life regen on this build and are opting for leech instead. Your spirit gems, you went for all damage outside of scavenged plating. You didnt take any of the 18 str nodes,
Spoiler
![]() Same for beef, you didnt even bother going to it. With its surrounding 12 str nodes
Spoiler
![]() You took brass dome, a very budget one by the way. But then opted to not invest into this node, or really any part of this cluster for armour.
Spoiler
![]() You didnt take this cluster either, extremely powerful for armour against projectiles and armour in general.
Spoiler
![]() I dont know why you have megalomaniac for ignite. Just use an ignite charm. You put investment into your jewels for something you can get on a charm. Because you have a belt giving you 1 charm slot, instead of two.
Spoiler
![]() You took 0% of this cluster, with its 27% increased armour small passives with hulking form allocated along with not taking this as an armour build in general
Spoiler
![]() Like this character is a walking disaster if you think it was built for tankiness. As it was built for damage. TLDR: You equipped brass dome. Allocated like 8 nodes on the tree for defense. And then expected something to happen. Mash the clean

" sure bud you think you're picking apart my character yet you haven't played it. i've played it extensively and actively worked to combat its weaknesses, which is why i have a megalomaniac to combat ignite, because it is one of the most dangerous things i can face of course you have to have damage in the build. if you don't do any damage, guess what? it doesn't matter how tanky you get cause you won't kill anything. my damage and QoL is some of the most efficient ways to get the damage, like constricting command and the jewels i use. ya i go life leech for sustain. life regen has been nerfed and requires FAR too much investment for it to be of little effect, especially when you run 75% reduced rate of life recovery maps. at least my 13,000 life leech per second is still useful in those maps i literally don't use a single damage spirit gem. i use scavanged plating and overwhelming presence. you wouldn't know that just looking at my stats sheet alone. yes i didn't take the 18 str nodes. because they cost passives, precious passives that are used elsewhere instead of just for 36 flat life which is essentially nothing. yup i don't get the defend with 200% armour, why? because again passives. i don't take extra damage from crits anyway, and unless i could effectively allow myself to get crit majority of the time i see that passive as a waste i don't need 20% more armour vs projectiles either, for 5 passives sorry buddy but you are broken. PS the constricting command nodes which give armour give a lot more than the ones you're pointing out. efficiency. again its funny you think you can look at a pob and know everything about the character without playing it and feeling it. please then show me your wise ways and build a tanky character with all of those awesome armour nodes you praise and show me how you do damage to kill these delirium t15 13 map mod monsters and bosses. i'd love to see it. now obviously i don't think my character is perfect, but i don't think its worth dropping 75% of my damage in order to get 30% more effective HP either if i go back to using 1H i lose 45% of my damage anyway i hope i made your day by actually replying to your crap. jollies can be had |

" Im not picking apart your character. Im telling you dead on With statistics against you You didnt build a tanky character. Thinking you did is just plain wrong And honestly? I think I do more damage than that character as well. As a 1h hammer build. Mash the clean Dernière édition par Mashgesture#2912, le 4 janv. 2026 à 11:38:20

course you do
but ya maybe i'll try getting an armour helmet and allocate those passives elsewhere and see how it feels. damage wise and more tank wise right now basically nothing touches me but playing expedition in some of these maps just gets crazy, and im not sure anything would survive it. like we're talking triple damage mods on the normal map, then on expedition theres another triple damage and crazy mods. would love to see your build in action though, especially if you think you do more damage. but ya i was also planning on upgrading my belt, once i got the currency. that way i could replace some of the chaos cores for more armour applies to elemental. stuff like that
budget is also always a factor though. i don't have 400 divines to drop on a BiS helmet so you're always compensating something. either resistances, armour applies to ele, hp, or just armour values. even if these changes are improvements its way expensive. like i say my poison pathfinder died less in nearly as hard of content (farmed expeditions as well) and it was done on probably 1/4 of what i've spent on this character already just as an example, these are the types of things i face all the time
Spoiler
![]() minus max, crit, extra cold, some effectiveness, poison, and all damage contributes to poison, poison on hit, tons of spd, quad damage. just bonkers PS didn't even get a logbook from that, but i did survive it with those changes dropped giants blood and using my old mace for specifically that encounter too Dernière édition par xMustard#3403, le 4 janv. 2026 à 12:27:40
