Bleed is no longer showing on enemy HP bars

As of three days ago bleed is now longer showing as a darkened space for me on HP bars. Is this expected behavior? It seems to have occurred about the same time that I started using additional bleed support gems like incision. Could those gems be related to the issue?

For example, I place a 100% bleed change support gem on my main druid claw attack and the enemy doesn't appear to show signs of the bleed buildup.
