Omen of Corruption + Gem - Nothing changed

I used Omen of Corruption on a Tempest Bell 19/20 (6L), and even though the omen should trigger some kind of change, nothing happened. I suspect the outcome was an increase in the number of sockets, but since the gem already has the maximum of 6 sockets, no visible change occurred.

This is correct. If you could remove two possible outcomes then it would be a bit too strong.
