vanishing armor - happened 2x on map entry

coming calamity - 3 sockets, fox idols.
skills on it with all support gems in them.

on map entry ~0900 2025-12-28 (california server) the item vanishes.

i mean gone gone, not returned to inventory, not unequipped and dumping its support gems back to the inventory; absent.

i returned to hideout, bought a replacement, had it with only 1x socket with fox idol in it... went to map. it was REPLACED with the original, and had some, not all support gems. no excess support gem return (im not accidentally unequip and dropping); an item swap.

then, it returned in its original form, the replacement having been lost (absent, as described, vanished).

then... about 0920; i go to another map, and the original has vanished AGAIN!

i dont understand whats going on!

ok... its back again; overwriting another, lower level of coming calamity... i dont know wtf... I dunno if support can check my character to see 'weird stuff happening on the body armor equipment slot...

noticed the return of the vanishing item ~1100 2025-12-28 california server.

so... there were 3x coming calamity in total:
- our vanishing one with lvl 19 skills
- the replacement one; its just gone (also lvl 19 bought trade this morning)
- the lower level one, which the first was supposed to upgrade. it was a foil unique. its gone too

again, i dont mean dropped, sold, or somehow disenchanted. i mean vanished, typically happening (3x now) when entering a map.

at 13:52 2025-12-28 notices that the armor skill gems lost 3 of 4 in the case of thunder and ice. something is weird about the actual chest piece im wearing right now...

again, not in inventory, just gone.

again! gone entirely - body armor piece absent - 2025-12-28 14:05 california server

- it returned after relog, equipped. but... it stripped the support gems again

- i rebought the 7x support gems it majick'd away (vanished)
- logged out
- logged back in again
- the 7 were absent! (2025-12-28 14:22)

again! 2025-12-28 16:55 california server:
- missing body armor on map entry, am super squish
- character relog in map restores it

again! but different item!
- so its my body armor slot that seems to have issues.
- i bought 'Hyrri's Ire Armoured Vest' on trade, for 7 div, which is expensive for me (when i say expensive i mean clear me out expensive)
- log in today ~17:55 california server

it is gone!

my skills are changed still (i move in herald of ash/thunder as i'd removed them by no longer wearing coming calamity)

i have now got the OLD, when bug started, coming calamity equipped!

the vastly more expensive armor is gone -

again, not deleted / dropped, i mean vanished and replaced with the other equipment.

to ggg - you may be able to see 'what he had on when he logged' ==> that insta-changed to a different item
- note: the body armor swapped back has WRONG SOCKETED gems
- i had in the old one 3x 'fox idol'
- i now have 1x fox idol, and 2x increased evade/armor/es
- this is sort of like the Hyrri's Ire Armoured Vest: which had those increased evade/armor/es slotted

so its like it mixed them.

i dont know what to do; every time i login, often on map change; the herald skills on the coming calamity item that started the bug are fully or partially stripped. and hell, i daren't replace it, because the new thing can get zapped.

i cant really keep it; it often gives me no equipped armor on zoning to map; but that might have been because its processing deletion of the item for some reason, and prior to the Hyrri's Ire - i was using a lower level coming calamity.

the path along this is:

old coming calamity (foil) -> new one aka 'problem start body armor' (higher level, bugs start) -> another higher level inferior coming calamity (wiped, vanished, replaced by the 'problem start body armor') -> Hyrri's Ire -> vanished, replaced with 'problem start body armor'

my character is destroyed?

ok - i shit you not. i removed the problem item. i put it into my 'uniques' tab in stash. its there. i was going to try to sell it but thought better of it because i might poison the body slot of another player, and that's horrid!

- i didnt want to destroy it, because then ggg might think im taking the piss (im not, i'd like to ID this as definately a bug!)

--- ok, so into uniques stash tab.... then...
---> the Hyrri's Ire has returned, im wearing it!!!
---> now that problem coming calamity gonna need to leap out of my stash to get back upon my person equipped... im going to try a map now, my arpg ggg besties...
