Hc Fate of the vaal character gone

My Infernalist character in Fate of the Vaal HC suddenly disappeared. It didn't die or anything. Can you help?
I left the account in Act 4 last night and logged out of the game. Now when I log back in, the account is gone, right at the character selection screen.
