Less punishment for melee class

Hi guys, I would like to know what you think about less punishment for melee class like mini stun/element effect on them. While they have to get close to the monster to deal damage, their defenses kind of suck now, and if you hit with chill ground/temporal chain debuff, monster basically perma mini stun you til death.

" You have super good defenses for melee. Fortify, Max Res, Block, many life nodes, jewel slots for more max res, spell suppression is an option, spell block. I don't know why they should buff melee more |

I’d call them “close-range” skills instead of melee, because melee also includes slam skills like Sunder, which are basically “ranged melee”. Same with Lightning Strike, it can play like a ranged skill while still being tag as melee.
There is a reason those "melee-range" skills have been meta for so long, cause they are easier to play. Playing true close-range skills is pretty much playing PoE on hard mode, you need to know the game a lot more and react faster. Dernière édition par Gerente#4084, le 26 déc. 2025 à 16:31:23
