Charged Staff Animation & Druid Transformation Sills

Currently playing on a Monk that focuses on power charge stacking. When I use Charged Staff and have the buff up I notice when I use a Druid ability like Devour then switch back to Monk/human form my charge staff buff is up but the animation (lightning wave) no longer shoots out.

I am using whirling assault as my main ability while in monk form.

Edit - in addition if you refresh the ability while in monk form Charge Staff will not refresh its animation and start showing the waves.
