Stealth update Dec 25th (GMT-8) - Menus/UI now look like god-awful AND CRASHES

Hey, so apparently stealth update today that totally changes the UI? Now everything hyper-saturated and it looks absolutely ass on the big screen in HDR. Either intolerably bright or unreadably dark (or a bit of both at the same time, yay!). Doesn't look anywhere near as bad on a non-HDR laptop screen, but wow - even then I hate the hyper-saturated inventory item colour panels. It's hard on the eyes, bad for readability and looks like butts.

Please turn this display mode into a toggle, if you don't get rid of it altogether. 'cause it's hella nasty. Don't love the shark-tooth pips on the XP bar, either. First screenshot is my setup, 2nd screenshot is the laptop.

ALSO ALSO, attempts to adjust the settings result in crashes every time on the laptop, and sometimes on the desktop PC.

Can you PLEASE stop rolling out untested, buggy hotfixes mid-season and breaking the game we are trying to play, test, and maybe even enjoy? Or at least make settings-level changes toggles until they are tested by your players?

Thanks.

Two additional, even worse (somehow) looking screenshots. Who thought this was more readable than the old setup?

Also, no screenshot for it, but I tanked a huge hit on the 1st floor boss of Trial of Sekhemas because the falling rubble was too dark to see and (the resultant explosion too bright); couldn't screengrab it in time.

This reminds me of the ultra-bright corpse explosion fiasco. You'll notice, by the way, that screenshot 2 showcases the overbright and underlit elements side by side in a couple places, really highlighting the dysfunction; for example, the team member's health bar display.

Nothing has changed with the UI. Considering the crashes and the look of your game, I'd start with updating you GPU drivers first and looking at your hardware second.
Very odd, considering it affected a PC and a Laptop at the same time (and has consequently stopped happening after about an hour). And that there hasn't been any issue (or any hardware or driver changes) in ~6 months.

Mysterious.
