Vaal Temple - Please let all rooms connect.

Connection logic is all over the place. Please just make all rooms connectable to one another.

My last temple run I had room key connected and last map tile I had available that would place was a commander room right in front of Atziri's Chamber. After placing it the room only opened a connect to the hallway and not Atziri's Chamber. Ran the temple just to be sure and sure enough it just blocks access to her chamber. Now I have to wish for a sacrifice chamber / piece to try to remove it or pray to RNG close temple gods to remove it.

No, please don't do that. Finding out what works together and what does not is the whole fun of the league mechanic. Besides, the UI already shows when a small connection will be made or not.

That's like saying make a 500 piece puzzle, where any piece can connect to any other piece. What's the point, anymore?

The point was to allow a player to build the temple they want to build and run. Not quite literal gatekeeping.

There's already limitations built into the mechanic: rooms get destroyed upon completion, new rooms are chosen randomly for every run. These two alone greatly limit our capabilities. Why limit it even more by limiting how things connect and/or not clearly showing what connections will be made?
I just want to be able to connect hallways to rooms, not just to other hallways...

I get you, and thank you for being understanding. But, there's already plenty of "kill monsters in circle" league mechanics, already. This and expedition are my favorite league mechanics in this game. Please let us have this one! XD

This plus allowing the ability to rotate a hallway to place it would help too.

To expand a bit if I may, I don't find those two as limitations. I find them as exciting challenges. Rooms getting destroyed make me not invest all my eggs into one basket and think/plan about possibilities that haven't happened, yet. Random rooms make me think about how I can utilize the cards that are in front of me. Room connections both give the temple a sense of contour as I walk through it and challenges me on how to place different rooms. I find all of this really stimulating. I don't want the perfect temple. I want a novel, unique, if not a bit janky, temple that is a creation of the limited tools and constraints that I had. That's so cool to me! :D

At this point, it's not even about the loot for me. It's about THE TEMPLE. :O

I do agree that clarity can be much improved. :)
