Abyss monster is way too OP

I dont know but I played abyssal league and I never encounter this problem but right now the abyss boss is way too OP. the lightning skill he cast can one hit me with 5.3k es and 3.2k hp. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Edit: I run away a bit on this mob and regenerate a bit of ES and life and when I was about to enter his view he just 1 shot me. I didnt even see the skillor the queue because I was off screen. I am res capped.

From the 0.4 patch alone I got like 200 deaths already. I am on standard and the specific nerfs on blood mage really made this class useless af. so frustrating. you nerf everyone because of rune limitation and then you buffed the mobs secretly without any prior announcement. its not even on the patch notes.

Also the exp penalty and slows on maps sucks. We didnt pay you to punish us. rename the game state to EARLY DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me it's the visual queue from some of the monsters that mainly needs some adjustments. The "dual-wield spear mounted mob" (can't recall the name) occasionally does a frontal AoE attack that has a very long/wide size + is extremely rapid. The visual queue of the attacks themselves is very poor and should be way clearer if GGG wants those attacks to be borderline 1-2 shots. Personally I would like the AoE/length of that particular attack to be reduced slightly, but don't expect much to be honest.

I generally find it strange how they want us to play around "combos" and engage with mechanics of mobs/encounters they design, but then make those mechanics extremely unforgiving (aka you get 1 shot) and by default you force players into the "insta-screen-nuke-it" before it kills you (because it's simply the only viable approach (from a realistic/convenient PoV)
First time melee I take it? Welcome aboard.
I had this before (their lightning doing insane amount of damage) but it's not always happening, it's related to the random stats they get which make them overtuned.

You are not the only one; it happens to me as well... the damage is crazy unbalanced and inconsistent for mapping.

now its no longer a league, but a permanent thing... my only deep abyss (seems rarity for it opening was bumped way up) and some "thing" one shot me out of the abyss... must have been one of this fellas.. completely unfair..

..if its a one shot mechanic, it should only start when fully on screen and have a delay (have other attacks first) and a long wind up.. as it is its very unfair
