Xotolan, the High Priest bug in Vaal Temple

Found him as a unique boss in the Vaal temples golden forge room alongside the Kamasan smith unique boss. Brought him down to mostly dead, ran away as I was about to die, devoured in his general location, and then killed the Kamasan smith boss. I can't say for sure devour is what caused this, but he's about less than 10% of his health and is currently invincible and invisible aside from some ground animation that's happening. I can't leave the room because it's not complete, aside from respawning at checkpoint and doing that doesn't seem to fix the boss. I can go around doing the rest of the temple but I'm unable to get to the room that's past this one.
