0.4.0 Feedback after playing all four seasons

I like the addition of druid and disciple of varashta. Those are a highlight. The disciple is a very unique ascendancy and very well done for the kelari skills. I didn't try the other skills much but I've read navira is great if you can reliably produce the chilled ground.
This season has been different from the previous seasons with regards to quality. For the first time in all the seasons, i've actually experienced server crashes as the result of my game play. Two in the Penitentiary map (boss fight using Kelari's Judgement) and one in Arbiter fight (phase 2, also using kelari's judgement). In addition I've had many client crashes, most notably the "deadlock" exception when playing in a party with party members off-screen from each other. The server crashes are brutal when you lose your map or boss instance as a result. We lost hours of progress because server crashed during arbiter fight. Server crashes are non-recoverable. Even when the crash happens in just a map, you still lose the map and some portion of the progress (like XP). I even lost the level I just got right before a server crash. After logging back in, the level was gone. Not a big deal as it was only 10 minutes or so of game play to get it back -- but it still was a downer and a waste of time for everyone in my party. The client crashes are generally tolerable EXCEPT when in an ascendancy trial. The deadlock crash forced my party to run Chaos trial five times before we could finally complete it. Once someone crashes out, they cannot get back in. If the party leader crashes out, nobody can progress because only the party leader can pick the options for the next room in the trial. Anyway, my friends and I are taking a break now. We'll probably this season if the quality improves. Server instance issues have been plaguing this game throughout the year of development. I had most issue in 0.3 but it has been fine this league for me. Only a couple disconnects that brick the map. In 0.3 I had so many I quit the league. It may be related to the region, not sure.

I didn't discuss the league mechanic in my initial feedback.
I love the concept and the boss fights. However the temple implementation presents a few friction points for me: 1. The amount of back tracking and running around is tedious. Adjacent rooms may not have doors on their common wall. Doors should be automatically present when ANY two rooms are adjacent. 2. While visually stunning, the interior layout of some rooms is maze like. I can't just sprint straight thru a room. the combination of stairs, ledges, and other impassible decorations become a chore to navigate. One room is pretty much an "S" shaped maze. 3. Insufficient road tiles. It took so many temple runs to establish a connection to atziri when she was literally TWO tiles away... TWO. I talking at least four runs to make that connection. The fight was fun but not enough for me to try and rebuild the connection (which is now FOUR tiles away). Rewards seem decent, but I'm generally a poor player. If I get more than 20 divs in a season, I'm doing good. All that to say that the rewards may not be worth the effort for players that measure divs per hour as a progress metric.
